About Linda

Congresswoman Linda Sánchez is proud to serve California's 38th District in the United States Congress. Linda was born in the City of Orange to immigrant parents from Mexico. Her father was a mechanic and her mother an educator. From her parents, Linda learned dedication, gratitude, hard work, and commitment to community. She attended UC Berkeley and later earned a law degree from UCLA.

Congresswoman Linda Sánchez has dedicated her life to improving the community where she grew up and making Southern California a better place to live and work for generations to come.

Linda proudly represents California’s 38th Congressional District which includes the communities of Artesia, Bellflower, Cerritos, East La Mirada, Lakewood, La Palma, Los Nietos, Norwalk, Montebello, Pico Rivera, Santa Fe Springs, South El Monte, and Whittier.
